CALL FOR PAPERS
The Ecology and Culture Area of the Popular Culture/American Culture Association is soliciting papers on Perspectives on Landscapes and Culture for the 2018 conference in Indianopolis, IN.
Wednesday, March 28–Saturday, March 31, 2018
How do landscapes, whether natural or built, affect human behavior and perspectives? Is there a relationship between landscape and culture? What role does non-human life play in the health of the landscape (animals, insects, birds, rivers, trees, soil, etc). How will climate change affect the interplay of landscape and culture? Are there connections between landscapes and health–either human or non-human health?
